There seems to be a general consensus that first you build it, then scale it and, once you have secured funding, you can then resolve the culture. Not so.
Company culture is a process in constant evolution and not something you revisit yearly. It’s not a strategy, tool or marketing gimmick. It’s central to your existence.
Getting your feet wet is exactly that. It’s akin to slowly entering the cold water and gasping for air as your private parts feel the brunt of the cold water. The afflicted few never place their feet in a swimming pool they know is cold. They somehow have come to terms with the fact that if they just jump in, head first, they’ll survive.
A coach will help you get from where you are (actual state) to where you want to be (desired state), taking you on a journey of self-awareness supported by the premise that people have all the resources to solve their own challenges, using a series of questions, exercises, tools and dynamics designed to get you from one point to another, co-creating a plan with you, objective(s) and actions and more importantly, the way for you to actually follow through (execute).
